Question enter line breaks in 3d text objects - 07-17-2009, 04:34 PM

I have found that when initially creating a 3d text object I can add line breaks. After that initial creation there doesn't seem to be any way to add line breaks in the text (and any editing of the text value seems to remove those line breaks). Does anyone know of any way to enter line breaks?

Thanks
Jias

You are correct in what you said. Unless you use the original spacing, the fromating vanishes. (Unless there is a hotkey I don't know about)

Basically you can program around this by copying the 3d text ad moving it to the next line and then altering the text.

Is there any way to accomplish this in a method?

I'm trying to display a list with each item on a different line.

Thanks,
Jias

That seems to be the best option that Alice has. I was just hoping to figure out a way to do it that would allow for differently sized lists.
Thanks
