Default Welding Technique? - 03-15-2011, 05:50 PM

I am trying to create a figure out of the shapes preinstalled in alice and it would like them to stay together but it wont stay. Also i would like to duplicate it with out duplicating multlipicating more than once. Any help?

Start off with a base that you want everything attached to then join components to that base, if you want sub-parts then add more bases to that main base.

To link the objects - under the properties tab of an object you should find a vehicle property. Set the vehicle of an object to another object that you want it to follow, in this case as I described above you would set the vehicle of each component to the base.

But you would still have to copy them individually.

Thank you for clearing that up!

But how do i make subparts again? I got confused there.
