hey everyone, im making a speed boat racing dodge style game. the only thing is i encountered a problem... after the boat travels for a while, i run out of water to drive on. i was wondering if there was a way to keep the water flowing no mater where you go to. if this makes any sense at all
Edit:
i had one idea and it works, but not well, the code is...
if ground distance to (boat) >= grounds width/3
ground 2 move to (boat) 0 seconds, abruptly
ground 2 showing = true
ground showing= false
if ground 2 distance to (boat) >= grounds width/3
ground move to (boat) 0 seconds, abruptly
ground showing = true
ground 2 showing= false

well i see what your doing there, butt in this game i incorporated speed into it, and that might be hard to do your method with that, i kinda have it working, the only thing is it activates if the boat moves at all, when it should wait till it travels 1/3 or the distance of the ground which is 1000 meters...

u could try so that u have multiple grounds and when u are approaching the edge of ur current ground it moves another ground over there to meet up with that edge

Or you could set the grounds vehicle to the boat. However, this will not give the appearance that the boat is moving across the water.

-Some penguin adventure game?

Or you could resize the ground about x100 times bigger.

Not to my knowledge never really had that problem(plus I don't feel like checking) I am pretty sure it will be fine.
