One of the events scheduled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our founder Randy Pausch’s The Last Lecture is a talk by the Entertainment Technology Center faculty and famed game designer Jesse Schell. Jesse Schell had the privilege of meeting Randy Pausch at the Walt Disney Company and then working, playing, and teaching with him for over ten years. On March 5 at 4pm, he will be giving a talk entitled You Can Do More Than You Think: Memories of Randy Pausch where he will share stories, inspirations, and lessons learned from a decade of working with Randy.
The talk will be given here at CMU but will also be live streamed for anyone that would like to listen in here.
Another scheduled event related to the celebration of The Last Lecture is our rapidly approaching Alice Bootcamp that is accompanying our Alice Regional Challenge. For those in our neighborhood we are all booked up for our morning workshops but we are encouraging interested parties to sign up for our waitlist, stop by in case we have room, or join us for our more free-form Alice sessions in the afternoon.
